As well as sharing an artistic talent with my mother and brother, growing up in San Diego has allowed me to appreciate all the work and passion that goes into creating a piece of art. Although I took classes in high school and college, I decided to change my major when painting became the cause of my stress instead of my release from it. Since then, I have earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and work full time at a hospital in La Jolla.
