This was a study in values and textures. The texture was achieved with scoring, scraping and some salt.

My "watercolor" life began in 2009 when I moved to Boulder Colorado after retirement. I enrolled in a watercolor class taught by Anne Gifford. I had never tried my hand at painting at all. So upon joining the class I decided that I would try it as long as my supplies lasted and if I hadn't fallen in love with it that I would retire my brushes.
