I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.

Welcome to Endless Skys. I was born and raised in England but I emigrated to Canada over 30 years ago and currently reside in the London, Ontario region. In April 2013, I finally quit the corporate world to focus on my creative side and to learn more about myself through words and pictures. I honestly had no idea if I had a creative bone in my body, but I knew it was time for change. Since then I have simply let my life unfold, going with the flow of wherever my new journey is taking me...one day at a time. I am completely self-taught in all aspects of the art world, from learning to navigate my way around a camera, to the on-going pursuit of developing my skills with all kinds of digital software. I am a professional Digital Artist...

Pennie, this is moving and superb image. Thank you for your explanation of the sad event and the cellist who commemorated it. l/f

Thank you Elizabeth for your kind words.
Joseph Levine
A poignant tribute to the most abstract art, Pennie... was it a cellist-- or violinist -- in the midst of endless & deadly sniper fire during the 1990s Siege of Sarajevo, who maintained the morale of an entire city?
Pennie McCracken replied:
Joseph, it was Vedran Smailović, a cellist who played for 22 days, at the same time and location, dressed in tails to honour the 22 people who were killed by a mortar bomb while they queuing up for bread. It was on May 26, 1992. Very sad time indeed. Thank you for your lovely comment.
Jim Buchanan
