One winter morning, I found this Red Cardinal perched on this piece of wood outside our kitchen window. It had snowed overnight and the brilliant red of this male song bird contrasted so beautifully against the white snow.
Making a photograph is oftentimes much easier than coming up with a title, for me anyway. So I posed the question on my Jim Cook Photography page on Facebook. Asking viewers for their suggestions. I received many but chose "Heaven Sent" since their is the popular belief that when Cardinals appear Angels are near.
