superb!!

Very beautiful painting with lovely colors!

Thank you very much Wayne.

This is like the definition of summer.. love it.

Thank you so much Nina and Jennie, so nice to hear your thoughts. The image reminds me of the day garden friends showed up one day-ladies in their 80's. They begged for the tomatoes...I told them I wasn't done shooting them. The following week, I delivered several ripe as well as green toms for frying when the frost came. They got such a thrill.

Couldn't get any better than this! Beautiful work! LF

My duvet "Abstract Feather " is delightful. It compliments my bedroom and my own art perfectly. The material used is exquisite. Very pleased with my latest purchase from you .

Of course, Jill Barklem's artwork is so amazing! A beautiful way to display more of her lovely Brambly Hedge illustrations is on a duvet! Brambly Hedge has been a very important part of our family for many years. We are grateful for Jill every day. (The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with the artwork-- I really don't like the fabric that Fine Art America used for the duvet. It feels terrible. I would've liked a nice cotton or flannel.)

Artist's Description

It's been a long wait, but these Amish Heirloom tomatoes are almost ready. This is shot in my garden using natural light after a rain storm. An heirloom tomato, called heritage tomato in the UK, is an open-pollinated (non-hybrid) heirloom cultivar of tomato. According to tomato experts, heirloom tomatoes can be classified into four categories: family heirlooms, commercial heirlooms, mystery heirlooms, and created heirlooms. They are grown for a variety of reasons, such as historical interest, access to wider varieties, and by people who wish to save seeds from year to year, as well as for their taste, which is widely perceived to be better than modern tomatoes. They do, however, have a shorter shelf life and are less disease resistant than most commercial tomatoes. The tomato is the edible, often red fruit of the plant Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as a tomato plant. Both the species and its use as a food originated in Mexico, and spread around the world following the...

About Chris Berry

Hello, Thank you for viewing my work or making a purchase, I'm truly grateful. I'm a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. I worked in high volume labs printing in a darkroom before moving to Dallas, Texas, working in the photo district in a custom BW lab, printing murals and linens for artists all over the world. I later worked as a photographers assistant in commercial fashion and product shoots in studio and on location and in-studio labs. After becoming ill, I returned to my hometown. The whole world went digital and did not wait for me. I'd started to think this part of my life had passed. I worked countless jobs over the years and they left marks. Being a taxi cab driver was an up close and personal study of the human...
