Revolutionaries Series.
Henry Rollins. His impact on the punk scene was impressive, and his spoken word work and writing continue to embed him in our society. He's mad as hell and he's not gonna take it lying down. He is a mover and shaker, more so than any current musician, author or celebrity that I can think of. If you don't know who he is, google him. You will love him or hate him, but you WILL hear him and you will not forget who he is. He is the most American person in spirit alive today. He stands for freedom, human rights, and common sense. If I could, I would elect him president, with Perry Farrell as vice. ;-)
He is my largest inspiration when it comes to questioning "authority."

Love Henry Rollins, watch his interview show on Ifc,Love 9 inch nails, love Tom Waits and Nick CAve. Controversial musicians who shake you out of complacency and mediocrity always get my attention. This year is the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, my generation tried to change things musically and artistically, yours has picked up the torch. Thanks for your note and comments on my work.
