This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

Hereford Cathedral (Hereford, United Kingdom)
Richard Gough, the 18th-century antiquarian, was describing what would later become one of the most famous maps in the world: the Hereford World Map. When it was first created it was housed in a wooden triptych some 10 feet wide, and would probably have been displayed in a prominent place in the cathedral, an aid to devotion and instruction.
Initially regarded with reverence, in the centuries that followed its creation the Hereford World Map fell into disuse. At one point perhaps during the Civil War - it was stored under the floor of the cathedrals Audley Chapel. Worse was to follow. In the 1780s the wings of the triptych were destroyed or lost, and in the early 19th century the map was found under a pile of lumber. In 1855 it was taken to the British Museum, where the back...
I was born in San Jose, California in 1953. In 1954 we moved to the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. We moved again to the suburbs of Chicago in 1956. Due to my Dad’s employment, we moved to Pennsylvania in 1959, so I have lived Penna. in since then. I grew up on a small farm in Pennsylvania and was inducted into the National Honor Society in high school. I was on the Dean's List a few times and earned my degrees in biology and natural science at Muhlenberg College, a small liberal arts college in Allentown PA in the mid 70s. The art history course I took in my senior year at Muhlenberg College and did extremely well in, was very educational, and I enjoyed it. I went on to earn my doctorate in Philadelphia in the late 70s. I...
