While this might sound like a 'chicken little' paranoia, it should be appreciated that comet strikes cause mass extinctions...
Never the less the Gaels for the most part did fear nothing, not even death...for they believed in life everlasting.
But it is not the point that heroes are fearless...rather they do not let fear rule their behaviour...
Humans evolved because they were not afraid to take risks...they had to battle and compete with huge fierce and overpowering beasts like dire wolves and sabre tooth cats, giant cave bears, savage bulls and mighty mastodons...in order to survive and flourish, as they have....
All because bravery is their singular hallmark...and greatest power.
