Good quality puzzle packed in a sturdy box. This was bought as a gift and hasn't been completed as yet. I was very impressed by the shipping and updates as this was posted to the UK. A perfect find as my son has just returned from travelling around the US and he set himself the challenge of photographing license plates from every state.

Some of the pieces were not fully cut and caused them to tear on the picture side. 4-Star to reflect. Other than that the puzzle was very challenging. Framed once we completed.

The photograph was beautiful and the gift recipient was ecstatic with this puzzle so I was very pleased. The downside was that it was poorly packaged and the puzzle box was damaged in shipping which is unfortunate since this was a gift.

They are surrounded by scenes of African American life and portraits of John R. Lynch, Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, Ulysses S. Grant, Joseph H. Rainey, Charles E. Nash, John Brown, and Robert Smalls. The original title of this print from 1881 was, “Heroes of the colored race”.
