The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Using the song Hey Ya to influence the painting I have created.
Elizabeth makes abstract expressionist work and realist work from Herndon, Virginia. She applies her background of music to create art. Elizabeth takes a song and transfers the sounds of different instruments and tones into a visual with color and shapes. Each song she listens to creates a unique image, and with the immense amount of content out there in the music world, her options of ideas and concepts are also immense. She also uses the same idea but a different process for her monotype prints. The process still has the idea of the music determining color and shape but involves a subtractive method. She does this applying paint to an acrylic plate laying it out in a way that is influenced by the music and spreading it across the plate....
