This lake is located at 9,138 feet in elevation high in the Sierra Nevadas of Inyo National Forest.. The weather was windy and the temperatures were below freezing in this early morning Fall capture. The trail head over Bishop Pass into Kings Canyon National Park is not too far from this location ~ Lynn

Beautiful! I was curious as to the name of the lake as well as the mountain peaks in the background as well as which direction we are facing in the photograph. I traversed the area many years ago and I'm trying to get a bearing as to where exactly you are at. It sorta looks like Mr. Ritter in the background...
