Amazing!

Robert Storost replied:

Thanks, Charlotte!!

Outstanding! Nice composition and the technique is beyond description... Your process has created a rich other worldly coloration and the tactile feeling is magnificent. L/F I wonder what applying your technique to other subjects would produce? A macro image using your technique and style, of human eyes and the eyes of other creatures would be interesting. Great work!

Robert Storost replied:

Thank you, Steven. Since I "discovered" focus stacking last year, and got all the equipment (which is quite expensive), I am hooked on showing the often hidden detail of common and not so common objects. I am always learning and always will be. I tweak the images until I get the image my mind's eye sees. Finding new subjects is a continuous process. I truly look at the world in a different way these days.

Excellent quality. I am so pleased with my purchase, it's much better than I imagined. The image is crisp clear and the fabric is very good quality and hemmed all around. I have bought it to hang in my apartment in Tenerife which we have called The Kestrels as these birds fly and hover around it all day. I can't wait to return and hang it on the wall.

This is becoming the focal point of a four poster bed canopy.

It’s been almost two months and I still haven’t gotten my package after contacting Fine Art America multiple times. Would not buy from them again.

About Robert Storost

I am a photographer and artist from Northern Illinois. My parents came from Germany and settled in Chicago where I was born. Curiosity and imagination are my best friends. My first love is macro and my macro studio isn't much more than a TV tray in my home office but that's not to say I won't photograph anything that catches my eye. I love to notice the very small, the things that almost everyone overlooks. It's great therapy and keeps me sane. The wonders of this planet are never-ending. I hope you enjoy my considerable efforts. My goal is to explore this amazing planet, feed my imagination, and get the most out of a large collection of photographic equipment and software that is ever expanding, and push it to its limits and beyond. It...
