An urban Saguaro cactus presides over a parking lot next to a hospital. I used a Holga plastic lens over a DSLR body, which was a Canon Rebel T2i. I like to create impressionistic and semi-abstract photographs that depict desert plant life, as well as coastal life. Presently I'm on a pop art project, but did a simple piece this time, with minimal photoshop. I pulled back the blacks in camera raw, and in Photoshop just turned it into a JPEG file. This was taken during one of my breaks for coffee between a shooting session and a post production session. This looks best matted and framed, with the frame being a simple black wooden frame. I highly suggest a blond pine frame or a back frame. Note that it is underexposed and is grainy in large enlargements. I like it that way, but everyone has his or her own preferences, so please zoom in to look before buying. Currently, at the time of this post, my anrt and jewelry is in five shops and galleries and growing. I'm an award wining filmmaker and and artist, so there is potential for this piece being value added. Enjoy the simplicity and exotic feel of this piece.
