Completed in 1932, the Denver City and County building is a fixture in the Mile High City and one of the most photographed structures. The curved fascade, tall columns and clock tower make it one of the most notable downtown buildings. During the holiday season, the building is lit up and decorated becoming a popular destination on chilly winter nights. The lighting system has been modernized and now uses more than 1,000 LED spot lights, 585 LED fixtures, and 2,000 LED rope lights allowing it to change colors instantly.
