Description
After a friend left me a newspaper clipping of Julia Child's French Omelette recipe, I decided to create a work in homage to this great American chef. From my Kitchen Icon works, the mixed media painting features Child's Kitchen Aid mixer that is currently on display at the Smithsonian Institute, along with her French whisk. Child loved to incorporate new technology where it made culinary improvements, meanwhile utilizing simple kitchen tools that were very effective.
