Well done, Ken

Hi Ken!!!!! Lovely as one can ever imagine. FAV

Hi Ken--love all your sketches and this one is a gem. FAV

Ken I love the charcoal drawing of "Home". A place we all know we can always go back to to feel safe. Whether in reality of just in our memories. I can only hope that one day I could be 1/10 as professional as you are. I am new to the picture taking to share. Many time I took just for my enjoyment and that is as far as they went. Nice part of sharing on a site such as it is the chance of learning tips or helpful criticism. Keep up the great work.

Ken Day replied:

Thank you for stopping by and for leaving such a wonderful comment. I started capturing photographs as reference for paintings ideas. I started uploading some between painting to keep my viewers coming as I created the next painting. I have had such great response from my photography that I added a lot more. Finding what you love that people also love is a key to showing photography and any artwork for that matter. Always keep your heart in what you do and people will see your love through it and love that which you do.

Wonderful drawing at a difficult angle. I like the composition and your charcoal markings. f/v

Ken Day replied:

Thank you ever so much AnnaJo. I love working with angles that most shy away from. I find it fun to create the ordinary things with paint or draw in a unique way or angle.

I recognize that place! The one constant "home" in our childhood. Reverently drawn.

Ken Day replied:

Thank you for your comment Ruth. I was in first grade when we lived in this house. That must have made quite young at that time.

This is very nice! Wonderful detail, Ken!
