The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I love this metal print. The picture is crisp and colors are clear. We live in the Detroit area and my husband used to sell vegetables at Ester Market when he was in college.
Artist's Description
The blue-footed boobie are one of the most well-known species of the Galapagos Islands, but are not endemic to that archipelago. They are found all along the eastern Pacific coast, even in California. Research has shown that the male displays his feet in the courtship dance because the color is dependent upon his vitality. A deep, rich blue is preferred by females. He lifts one foot at a time and looks skyward, marching around like a clown. (Gotta show those females his "goods".)

Welcome! My love of color and texture has been evident since I was very young. At 11 years old, I was drawing portraits in pastels and throughout college made extra money selling "boyfriend portraits" to other students (oh my, love at that age!). Now I get great satisfaction experimenting with color, trying out new texture tools (who knew you could use garden tools?), and spending hours with Photoshop plug-ins just to see "what" they do.
