I appreciate the quality. The print was pretty small, so I was surprised it was rolled up and I had to flatten it. It would have been nice if it was flat in an envelope with cardboard support and a clear protective covers (like prints are sold at art shows). I do appreciate that artists have this resource.

I got this card for my sister's birthday and she absolutely loved it! We had our fortunes read by Zoltar Speaks when we were at Circus Circus in Reno, so she was surprised that I was able to find a Zoltar card. The quality was good and the picture was perfect. I would order from this company again!

Artist's Description

Homo heidelbergensis teeth. These molar teeth are worn down with age and the effect of diet. This fossil specimen is from the Sima de los Huesos site, Sierra de Atapuerca, Spain. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, containing the earliest human remains found in Europe. Homo heidelbergensis (Heidelberg Man) is a extinct hominin species from the same genus as modern humans. Like other early humans, they had complex social structures and lived in family groups. They lived around 600,000 to 400,000 years ago.

About Science Photo Library

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
