Description
A simple black and white houndstooth coat hanging on a hook on a blue background makes an unusual but effective minimalist composition. Houndstooth checks originated in woven wool cloth of the Scottish Lowlands, but are now used in many other materials. The pattern has enjoyed fashion popularity at various times in history, both in men's and in women's clothing.
