Review: What strikes me right away is your sense of color balance--how do you do it?! So much going on
yet each painting is uncluttered. Do you talk materials & technique? I cannot help wondering if you use acrylic string gel or clear tar gel with color added? I've had jars of both around for a while and recently added black to some and poured some squiggly lines onto a panel--so that is why I noticed your lines, thinking you might be using the same stuff? Or is that mix/recipe a secret?

I use color and paint to express my response to everything: nature, music, dogs, travel, happenings, etc. Sometimes an image flashes into view and I can’t relax until I recreate it, not even just the image, but also the emotions that came with it. I rely on my own instincts to gauge my success. The process is agonizing at times, but when it works, I feel complete elation. Biography: Wayne was born in Hartford, CN in 1948 and loved the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, Salvador Dali and Vincent Van Gogh early on.
