I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Manhattan Square Park is located on Broad & Court streets in downtown Rochester, across from the Strong Museum. Prior to the urban renewal demolition of the sixties and construction of the Inner Loop, the area occupied by Manhattan Square was a part of a residential neighborhood of houses and tenements that linked downtown to the Alexander/East area. Their demolition created the open space that is now occupied by the park. Constructed in the 1970s, the park's major features include a towering steel viewing platform and a sunken fountain area with a concert stage designed for free outdoor concerts.
The park was closed by the city as of July 26, 2008 and remains abandoned to this day. According to City Council Agenda, the city has a $1.1M bond out for the renovations, but no renovations have been started.
The reflection in this old fountain filled with rain water is of the HSBC Plaza across the street.
