Description

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

From the days when the railroads ran extensive marine operations in New York Harbor, here is Pennsylvania Railroad tug and lighter tied up along the lower Hudson. A PRR lighter rests nearby. Christopher Jenkins is an American artist who specializes in painting the trains, ships and airplanes from America�s great industrial age. His work has been displayed in galleries, museums, and other public venues. Paintings by Christopher Jenkins have appeared in nationally distributed magazines, including American Art Collector Magazine.

I am an American artist who specializes in transportation subjects. I am retired after a 34 year career in the freight railroad industry, so I am familiar with my favorite subject matter. My objective is to capture the essence of a scene or a machine, but without distracting detail. In many of the paintings, I have worked to create a sense of motion. The paintings are created using traditional drawing and painting techniques, and a variety of high quality oil paints, brushes and other tools, including the painting knife. My process is as follows: I begin by making several pencil sketches from different angles and distances. Once I am confident I have a solid plan, I make a more detailed sketch with appropriate shading. Then,...
