When I was a small child, living with my grandparents, I remember how much my Grandfather loved to take photos. He got a sense of joy from it that I admired. When I was 8 or 9 and kept building pretend cameras my parents thought it was about time they bought me one, you know the old Kodak pocket Instamatic. I was so thrilled. There was nothing better than getting that little yellow envelope in the mail with my printed photos. I often dressed up my little sister and she modeled for my very first photos. Later when I joined the U.S. Navy and moved to Spain my parents gave me my Grandpa's old camera and it stayed with me for a long time.
