Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. My Aunt Ruth Johnston Surdez was not only an artist with oil paint, but a sculptor using steel, granite, marble, sandstone and many other substances. Ruth Surdez was one of the earliest to create art with "Found Objects" or what today many call Junk Art.
All of my artwork is dedicated to My Aunt Ruth Johnston Surdez, who helped take care of me when living with my Grandmother Daisy Johnston, who raised me until 3.5 years of age during the depression.
In the late 1930's she asked the owner for old no longer used wooden pieces that held the molds, etc and created pieces of sculpture from them. Ruth did not call it "Junk Art" but "Found Art." Ruth collected all kinds of stuff she found in her daily walks. From pieces of glass to Bottle Caps, rusted bolts, coat hangers, keys, everything you can imagine....
