Buoys hang on a tree in Stonington, Maine as the fog clears on an early morning on the coast of Maine. It appears that there is a lot of work that goes on here on this little dock in the Atlantic ocean. Anything from eating lunch in the shack to full repair jobs on an engine that is way past it's prime.
About Don Powers
I have been involved with photography for more than 30 years and am looking to the next 30 with excitement and anticipation. The medium has come so far in such a relatively short period of time. Gone are the days of dark rooms and chemicals, being replaced by computers and amazing printers that can reproduce images to exactly what you saw through the lens. My subjects have ranged from portraits and weddings to everything in between. Currently my main capture is landscapes. I am drawn to the things that surround me every day. Home town landmarks as well as the amazing coastline of Maine. The small fishing communities and the way of life for many always entices me.
