Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg

It's a nice cover

The print came out very blurry and the fabric is not at all what I expected. The fabric also attracts my pets' fur and it's a pain to remove. The zipper enclosure is great however, way better then button-hole style duvet covers.

Artist's Description

The Hyde St. Pier was an historic ferry terminal on San Francisco's waterfront. Before the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, U.S. HWY 101 and 40 diverted onto ferries at this pier. Untold thousands of people and early automobiles plyed this route to destinations north and east. Today it is a part of San Francisco's Maritime National Historic Park. Several historic vessels are moored here and from the left in the photo are the 1886 square rigger BALCLUTHA, the 1914 double paddle-wheeled tugboat EPPLETON HALL, the hull of the 1895 schooner C.A. Thayer, and (behind the C.A. Thayer) the 1890 steam Ferry Boat EUREKA. All of these ships are rare representatives of the few ships of their class, if any, that are still in existence today. The BALCLUTHA, the shining jewel of the collection, made 17 trips around Africa's Cape Horn, each trip taking approximately half a year.

VALUE! and Quality. Purposely kept my prices DOWN ... with exceptional quality. LOOK no further. COMPARE, then purchase. As a computer expert, I am proficient in most of the digital imaging software out there. As you browse offerings . . . keep in mind that there is a difference. I specialize in restoration of historical photos and maps. I also enjoy photography, producing digital art and some conventional art. I do very little social networking or marketing. I prefer to devote much of my free time to creating, researching and perfecting the works you see here. Your purchases have elevated my works into the public eye and I thank you. My wife is a Kyoto, Japan native, so I have photographed that area extensively and some of...
