The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This extreme close-up of dried hydrangea leaves reveals and emphasizes a network of veins branching off a midrib that enters the frame from the lower left. The result is a pleasingly abstract natural pattern.
One of three similar images, this is suitable for use alone, in a pair, or in a threesome. I have also created a single composite image made up of all three; search my portfolio for the title "Networks".

Thanks, Maggie. I have printed the single image triptych numerous times, both as a moderate sized wall-hanging and, more frequently, as a card. I do love the colors I chose for the border :). I have a friend who gets all her sympathy cards from me - just the image with a simple quotation she likes printed inside - and this is one of her favorites for that use, too.

This one is part of a set of three and the "set" is on my shortlist. I already had it up as a digital triptych, but had never gotten around to uploading the component pieces until today.
