I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

About Ben Freeman
I have been drawing things since I was a kid, and got into photography way before there were digital cameras, but didn't get serious about my art until around 1978. I studied on my own for a bit, then got a bachelor's degree in art from Sacramento State University in Sacramento CA in 1982. I have worked in many different mediums along the way mainly because one would not satisfy all of my artistic ideas. I have worked in glass engraving, jade carving, sculpture, photography, textiles, cloisonne, ceramics, and watercolors. I also have worked as an artist in the sign industry for about 15 years, and you can occasionally see that aspect in a few of my images which have a more commercial feel. I am now working with digital photography...

I forgot to mention that I am a Vietnam veteran and this and the other Vietnam images are based on my own experiences in that war. It is on the dark side, but that particular war , and most wars for that matter, had a pretty big dark side. Wars are never really just....folks innocent and not so innocent get killed in them. Some veterans were as human as one can be in such situations, but some did not act humanly at all and took advantage of the war to be exceptionally cruel to many who did not deserve it. We all deal with the fact that most of us killed folks....some deal with it well and others not so much. I had to face the fact that I had indeed become death, and this image shows the feelings involved pretty well.

I have great respect and appreciation for our veterans; I don't know if this paints them in the light that they deserve.

This is a very creepy picture
