Drawing - Aceylic, Watercolr, Carpet, And Puff Paint On Tree Bark
In this 1995 piece I am feeling for the coming to terms with appriciating myself without regard for other opinions. I really liked the imagery I had when I read words in my Children's Living Bible about Mary Magdelaine washing Jesus's feet with her hair expensive perfume. That is so very beautiful to be in a place that regardless of the choices of the person before you, yuo allow them to appreciate you in a way that honors you in thier language. I like the idea of appreciating myself for all that I am and all that I seak to be. Any mistakes I have made were never with an intent to ever harm anything. They were all me learning to be the me that pleases me. I love bathing. I can't imagine passing on a spa treatment or a soak in any pool of water; I feel like I am watering the garden when I play in the water.
