Right before you cross the bridge into town, on the left is Hoskin's Creek Table Company in Tappahannock, VA. This building, the original workshop and owned by John Vaughan, is tucked back away from the road, and if you aren't paying attention, its easily missed. That said, we pass this every day. Every day we catch a glimpse of it and that little snippet stays in our memory, tucked away as part of our every day life. Until that moment when we stop and really look at how beautiful ordinary places are. It was the sunlight on the old signs that caught my attention. Even rusted and old, the signs remind of us of simpler times- I mean really! How can you go wrong with Farmer's Creamery Ice Cream and a Pepsi?
