My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. (Contest win for grand prize for the 40/29 TV weather and commercial for Bedford camera. I won a camera and was featured in a commercial for three months.) This photo was taken by Nava Thompson. This is a Common Flicker Woodpecker on my feeder in my backyard in NW Arkansas. It was snowing-- he was beautiful and this made for a great winter scene. The perfect shaped heart on the back of his head amazes me--like a little special delivery message. :)

My story-- There's so much color, variety and fun in exploring nature and wildlife. The 'magic' of those moments have been captured and presented here for you to share and enjoy. I am more aware of God's paintbrush as I work with close up shots of birds in action and butterflies on flowers in the morning sun. Deer and Elk are outstandingly photogenic! They appear to have been outlined with a magic marker. Amazing -- isn't it? My dream is to continue to explore---chasing the rainbows and sunsets while searching for something new and exciting.
