Description
Sitting in an Art gallery in Tarpon Springs one evening, an elderly, well dressed woman walked in with a smile on her face and a dog draped over her well tanned shoulder, the unnamed canid, comfortable in a patterned cloth sling....perhaps a favorite well worn scarf ? Immediately I was captured by the diminutive dog's gaze and the poise and statuesque presence of the most well dressed of the patron couple......as the pair walked about commenting on the avant garde Art, all things paint and photograph, the dog continued to stare at me. The two walked toward the open door to continue on with their evening's adventure, fueled with a fresh breath of air on an elegant Spring evening. I grabbed my camera and took a quick unobtrusive shot as they walked past...to my surprise he discreetly leaned toward and whispered quietly....."I once won the Iditarod."
