The American Bison, or Buffalo, is an icon of the America west. This abstract work is based on an image of one such buffalo that walked on a paved roadway at Yellowstone National Park, acting like it owned the place. Of course, in many ways it did and it was quite untroubled when it tied up traffic. Actually, most of us tourists were quite enthralled that it chose to do so!

This artwork is an unique creation using a process to produce what I call photographic art. I work with one of my photographs (sometimes more than one), using several professional digital tools in multiple steps, to create a one of a kind work of art. I call the outcome photographic art and am quite proud to include it in my gallery. Many of the photographs that I use in this process are also available in its original photographic form elsewhere in my gallery. Both these creative processes, photography and digital art, stimulate my passion and satisfy my need to create.
