This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Amsterdam is well known for its canals. In the past they were the highway for transport and commerce since for a while Holland did pretty well with the spice trade in their control of Indonesia. The canals are still used but one common sight is these glass boats full of tourists. But, not in November.
This is a time of year in Amsterdam most tourists don't see. Even the seedy part of town shortens it hours and the little rooms in the red-light district are all empty. It's pretty dreary. I passed through on my way to visit my father before he passed away otherwise it was a season I would have missed. It was cold and rainy. It was not the cheerful active place I've visited in the summer. Very few people were about and it was early morning. A great time to get my photo series Amsterdam in November. Each one in the series has a black and white version, but I also have some in color and sepia. There is a lot more where this came from. Take a look in my gallery.
