The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

St John, US Virgin Island, is a breathtakingly beautiful, island with only just over 4000 residents. I snorkeled at Trunk Bay and it had the most beautiful marine plant life and lots of fish, and I appreciated the people there telling those that rented snorkeling gear not to stand on the reef. This is a view of the Caneel Bay Resort. Laurance Rockefeller bought up a lot of land on St. John and later donated it in 1956 to the US National Park Service on the condition it not be further developed. A portion, the Resort, operates on a lease arrangement with the NPS that owns the underlying land.
