Image is a man dressed in western garb for the annual Whiskey Row Shootout in Prescott, Arizona. Prescott was the Arizona Territorial Capitol from 1864 to 1867. The locals have a lot of community pride and go all out for events such as this. The Whiskery row Shootout event is two full days of western reenactment with groups competing in historical, comical and just plain fun skits. The costume contest is the largest in Arizona.

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs.
