I am writing to share my thoughts regarding the zipper purse I recently ordered. While I appreciate the quality of the product, I was disappointed with its final appearance. Upon placing my order, I adjusted the image on the purse as allowed. However, upon receiving it, I noticed that the top portion of the subject's head was cut off, which detracted from its overall look. This was unexpected and quite disheartening. After reaching out to customer service for assistance, I learned about the template used during production. It was explained that similar issues could arise with future orders if adjustments are made. This information is valuable for my future purchases. While we briefly discussed a refund option, it required me to destroy the bag in order to receive a full refund. Although I'm not entirely satisfied with how it turned out, I recognize that it remains a perfectly usable purse. I want to emphasize that this issue does not reflect on the artist's talent; Stephen Hill is truly creative and skilled. Despite this experience, I remain open to making future purchases.

Your Zephyrus tote bag depicts an ad which was created in 1935 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. The Zephyrus was a locomotive that they were promoting. The word Zephyr is from the Greek. It is the personification of the west wind and God of gentle breeze. It is also associated with Spring and flowers. Zephyrettes were train car attendants exclusively working in California Zephyr Dome cars. They wore suits with pencil skirts and pillbox hats, somewhat akin to a flight attendant, and were in service from 1936 to 1970 (except during the War years). They worked closely with the Conductor. Besides navy blue, over the years they wore brown, teal and gray suits as well as blue dresses with a white stripe down the side and green dresses with a similar orange stripe. In summer the suit was white worn with a navy blue blouse. I volunteer on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad which runs through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, just south of Cleveland, Ohio, and brought the Zephyrette to CVSR last July. I dress (the best part of the ensemble are seamed stockings!) and portray her when working in one of our Dome cars. She has been well-received by our passengers. Am including a photo of me in my brown suit holding your tote bag and I’m standing on the steps of our Silver Lariat Dome car, circa 1948. Also, I wear a Zephyr pin which you can see on my left lapel. So glad I happened to find your website while surfing the web. Your tote bag makes the ensemble complete and perfect. I also ordered one of your small zippered bags. Kind regards.

By Debra Argen-Nesta dargennesta@earthlink.net 203-358-9701 Artist Guido Borelli da Caluso was born in 1952, in Caluso, Italy at the foothills of the Italian Alps. Born into an artistic family, (his grandfather was a woodcarver and furniture maker, and his paternal uncle and aunt paint) young Guido first discovered painting somewhere between the ages of 4 to 6 years old. With the encouragement of his family, Guido's first art challenge came at age 13 in the form of a public award. Although he did not win this art award, he continued to make artistic strides, and had his first personal art exhibit at the young age of 17. He received his art training at Accademia Albertina, in Turin, which was founded in 1672, at the special request...
