Description
Nothing speaks more of Autumn in Midwest America than the cornfields ready for harvest. From the first tiny sprig bursting forth in Springtime to the tall dried stalks ready for harvest, the land is alive with field after field of corn and soybeans from May until October.
On a recent trip to my hometown in Central Illinois, this field is more than ready to harvest corn for feed. Farmers are working day and night to clear the fields of crops before winter brings its snow and bitter cold.
Welcome Autumn and its magical time of reaping what was sowed.
