Peter Nilsson enjoying cold January powder in Engelberg, Switzerland. It was totally flat light this day. The snow was dumping from the sky and I thought, if I am gonna do anything today I need to bring my Elinchrom Quadra flash system. After a few hours of nice, waist deep powder skiing, we found a great spot. I was really happy getting this angle, Peter skiing on one side of a gorge, and I was shooting from the other side. After a few tries, we finally got the result I was looking for. Great light and composition, with a perfect skiing position. The flash was standing about 5 meters to "the skiers right" of Peter, and was fired cord less from where I was standing. Engelberg is really good for powder skiing!
