Imes Covered Bridge-Winterset metal print by Kathy M Krause. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

It was a beautiful day for the Winterset Bridge Festival. The first bridge we visited was near St. Charles, Iowa just west of Interstate Highway I-35. The Imes Bridge was built in 1870 by carpenter J. P. Clark over the Middle River near Patterson, Iowa. It has been moved a few times and was extensively renovated in 1997. Original digital photography is subject to copyright laws and may not be used, altered or duplicated in anyway without written permission from the artist, Kathy M. Krause.

I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time. I blow with the wind and if there isn't a wind I go where and when I feel the urge to turn. I do stop for barns, horses, old farm machinery or old trucks and cars.
