It is almost as if the earth was opening up. I love the structure too ( or is the right word 'texture'? )

Thank you to all who commented. The red is for the blood they shed. The green and blue tones denote a feeling of sadness. The texture denotes the depth of the effects...which in reality are endless.

Very beautiful and thought-provoking! You and I have such similar tastes but we go in different directions. Your beautiful media paintings are just so inspiring. Wonderfully intricate and it's something that you need to look at for a while. Thanks so much for your comments on my paintings. I was inspired from one of yours with the turquoise! Lil
