I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

I love art! Since I was knee high I loved scrounging through my dad's business advertisements in every envelope and package from pharmaceutical companies. The papers were smooth, shiny, very heavy and all in color. Amazing that paper was all this, considering this dates back to the olden days... course that's just a figure of speech! Mostly I think I loved the smell and feel of the paper. THIS was the beginning of my journey into the art world. I loved picture books, but was not much of a chapter book reader. I think that's because without the pics, the pages held little to capture my attention. That's when I began to draw and fill in the lines with colored pencil and tempera paints.
