I first saw this picture in a Newspaper and was captivated by it. Thirty years later I saw it in a Gallery Exhibition in Newcastle. Now I have the T-shirt!! I rest content.

Love this shirt. Artist is my son.
Every artist needs at least one bottle and glass painting. I decided to paint this Irish Whiskey bottle. I chose to change the label's letter colors, however, so the eye would be drawn more to the liquid in the glass and the highlights in the painting instead of the label. It is painted on Arches 140# paper using 18th century reproduction watercolor paint.

Wow. You only posted this a few days ago and already many visitors. And well deserved. This works, besides being beautiful; I'm not sure if it's the pink of the whiskey, or your casual composition that, while almost symmetrical and thus boring, is anything but. The black of the labeling contrasts nicely. 'Reminds of the early Disney studies (the shadows) for like the Pinocchio feature or Snow White (they were done in watercolor). This piece works.
