The bottom seam was stitched so closely to the dinosaur that the legs of the animal were incorporated into the seam and ruined the appearance of the overall design. This has occasionally been a problem with other designs and seam stitching. Quality control not in place. An accurate replacement should be provided. This was to be included in young granddaughter's birthday package. Was unsuitable to gift.

This product was stitched well and the image as featured on the FineArtAmerica site was positioned on the finished zippered pouch as promised.

Quality of product, placement of image was better. Actual placement of lettering of "enjoy the Ride" did not all appear on same side of zippered pouch. Only "the Ride" appeared on the front panel with the bike. In view of timing to provide this as a gift to my granddaughter I no longer have possession of the pouch for photographing. This can be achieved if needed in order to prove my point and to provide the customer a better finished product as featured on their FineArtAmerica site.

March 21st, 2019

Poor quality control of seaming alignment did not allow full image as shown on original FineArtAmerica page. Below you will see how unsuitable the final product assembly and stitching was. A corrected zipper pouch to reflect the design placement as promoted should be provided to customer.

Artist's Description

"Is Paris Burning? is a 1966 film directed by Rene Clement, starring an ensemble cast, about the liberation of Paris in August 1944 by the French Resistance and the Free French Forces during World War II. The script was based on the book of the same title by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre. Shortly after the failed 1944 20 July plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler (Billy Frick), he appoints General Dietrich von Choltitz (Gert Frobe) as military governor of occupied Paris. Hitler believes Choltitz will obey his order that the Allies should not be allowed to capture Paris without the Germans destroying it completely, similar to the planned destruction of Warsaw. The French Resistance learn that the Allies are not planning to take Paris, but are heading straight to Germany instead. The two factions within the Resistance react to this news differently. The Gaullists want to wait and see, while the Communists want to take action. The Communists force the issue by calling for a general u...

About David Lee Guss

I first became obsessed with photography and motion pictures while growing up in post WW2 Manila in the Philippine Islands in the late 1940's/early 1950's. Film noirs were a particular influence. But my first love remains the theater. I acted in numerous amateur productions from 1958 to 1978. In 1979 I earned a MA in drama from the University of Arizona; earlier getting a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, where I co-founded the first film society on campus and ran it for four years. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
