The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Painting of a house that once stood in the Crystal Cove district on the California coast between Newport and Laguna. Original inhabitants forced out, and houses converted into a state park and fancied up for tourists, or demolished. But it was nice while it lasted.
