When will I get my order???
While traveling across Italy by regional train from Rome to Pescara, this village in a valley caught my eye. There was a very kind and accommodating man who offered me his window so that I could capture the village and surrounding landscape as we continued along the rails. The mountains in the distance are part of the Maiella National Park.
The regional trains are unlike any other . . . passengers can and do open their seat windows for fresh air! Everyone laughed as I stuck my head out of the window clicking away.
Although the photo was taken on film in 2001, it's been enhanced to appear more as an impressionistic painting.
