I have not hung the picture yet. I am updating my small home office. The print will be hung there so I can see it everyday. It depicts a lovely hope of someday seeing our loving pets that we miss so much. Thanks to the artist!

Print is low resolution, paper quality is sub-par, price is very high. I was expecting A LOT more for this price. Overall it feels like something I could have easily printed out myself for a fraction of the costs.

Artist's Description

The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is a carnivorous bear whose native range lies largely within the Arctic Circle, encompassing the Arctic Ocean, its surrounding seas and surrounding land masses. It is a large bear, approximately the same size as the omnivorous Kodiak bear (Ursus arctos middendorffi). A boar (adult male) weighs around 350–700 kg (772–1,543 lb), while a sow (adult female) is about half that size. Although it is the sister species of the brown bear, it has evolved to occupy a narrower ecological niche, with many body characteristics adapted for cold temperatures, for moving across snow, ice and open water, and for hunting seals, which make up most of its diet. Although most polar bears are born on land, they spend most of their time on the sea ice. Their scientific name means "maritime bear" and derives from this fact. Polar bears hunt their preferred food of seals from the edge of sea ice, often living off fat reserves when no sea ice is present. Because of their depe...

About Barbara Keith

Barbara Keith

05-19-17: Due to the injury of my index finger I can no longer work the hours I used to so I'm working on very short timelines. What that means is that it's going to take me a lot longer to get anything done. You never realize how important a thing like a finger is until you damage it!!! Bear with me, I will post anything new as I finish them. Also, I would like to let all the groups that I belong to know that I'm trying to catch up on everything - considering I lost about a year in total where I really couldn't do much. Sorry for the influx. 07-07-16: Will be absent again due to a torn tendon in my right hand (index finger). Will be gone for at least 8 weeks 04-09-16: I just want to let every one know that I will probably be absent...
