Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

All of J-Pod, a family of endangered Southern Resident killer whales, heads north together in Haro Strait during a September sunset in the San Juan Islands, Washington State. Photo was taken from shore by Monika Wieland Shields of the non-profit Orca Behavior Institute. All proceeds from sales go directly to support the research of the Orca Behavior Institute.
About Monika Wieland Shields
Photographer Monika Wieland Shields is the director of the non-profit community science group the Orca Behavior Institute based on San Juan Island, Washington. Sara Hysong-Shimazu is an OBI board member, artist, and photographer. All proceeds from images sold here are donations to the Orca Behavior Institute.
