I am writing to share my thoughts regarding the zipper purse I recently ordered. While I appreciate the quality of the product, I was disappointed with its final appearance. Upon placing my order, I adjusted the image on the purse as allowed. However, upon receiving it, I noticed that the top portion of the subject's head was cut off, which detracted from its overall look. This was unexpected and quite disheartening. After reaching out to customer service for assistance, I learned about the template used during production. It was explained that similar issues could arise with future orders if adjustments are made. This information is valuable for my future purchases. While we briefly discussed a refund option, it required me to destroy the bag in order to receive a full refund. Although I'm not entirely satisfied with how it turned out, I recognize that it remains a perfectly usable purse. I want to emphasize that this issue does not reflect on the artist's talent; Stephen Hill is truly creative and skilled. Despite this experience, I remain open to making future purchases.

Your Zephyrus tote bag depicts an ad which was created in 1935 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. The Zephyrus was a locomotive that they were promoting. The word Zephyr is from the Greek. It is the personification of the west wind and God of gentle breeze. It is also associated with Spring and flowers. Zephyrettes were train car attendants exclusively working in California Zephyr Dome cars. They wore suits with pencil skirts and pillbox hats, somewhat akin to a flight attendant, and were in service from 1936 to 1970 (except during the War years). They worked closely with the Conductor. Besides navy blue, over the years they wore brown, teal and gray suits as well as blue dresses with a white stripe down the side and green dresses with a similar orange stripe. In summer the suit was white worn with a navy blue blouse. I volunteer on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad which runs through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, just south of Cleveland, Ohio, and brought the Zephyrette to CVSR last July. I dress (the best part of the ensemble are seamed stockings!) and portray her when working in one of our Dome cars. She has been well-received by our passengers. Am including a photo of me in my brown suit holding your tote bag and I’m standing on the steps of our Silver Lariat Dome car, circa 1948. Also, I wear a Zephyr pin which you can see on my left lapel. So glad I happened to find your website while surfing the web. Your tote bag makes the ensemble complete and perfect. I also ordered one of your small zippered bags. Kind regards.

Very nice
Although many of Americas finest players had enlisted in the military for World War II. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt felt it would be beneficial for the countrys morale for professional baseball to continue uninterrupted. During this time, the game remained completely segregated, but knowledgeable people considered the overall quality of play to be superior in the, then called, Negro Leagues than the Major League. Negro League baseball averaged more than 50, 000 fans per game, and it wasnt just black fans in the stands.
As the War came to a conclusion, economic considerations, political pressure and the excellent quality of Negro League baseball led Branch Rickey, then President and General Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, to conclude the time was right for the integration of baseball. Rickey wanted the best black ballplayer in the country to begin the process. Failure of this experiment, he thought, could have long lasting, catastrophic consequence...
Gregory Perillo is one of todays most respected and renowned American Western artists. His powerfully dramatic, emotional depictions of Native Americans and early settlers, as well as Western landscapes and wildlife, have made him one of Americas leading painters and sculptors. Born in Greenwich Village, Perillo moved to Staten Island, New York, at age two and has lived there his entire life. Poverty stricken as a boy, he was forced to use as canvases the paper bags ironed by his mother and his first medium was coffee. His earliest impressions of the American West came from his father, an immigrant, who was studying American History. As a youngster, Perillo studied the works of the masters of American Western art, spending much of...
