This painting is part of a collection that brings awareness to of protection of wildlife. Wildcats are especially in danger of becoming extinct. They often fall prey to ruthless poachers that hunt for their beautiful fur. Just as the Machu Picchu is a reminder of the glory of the ancient Incas that have faded from the scene, these alluring cats may also disappear from existence. My painting is designed to keep these creatures in front of the people and to remind them of our responsibility to protect our wildlife.
